The Saudi Society of General Surgery (SGSS) held its 2025 annual meeting at the Faculty of Medicine, King Abdulaziz University, with the participation of leading surgeons and consultants from across the Kingdom.
The meeting reviewed the Society\'s key achievements over the past year, including the organization of scientific conferences, the implementation of surgical training programs, and the expansion of membership to include new categories of practitioners and researchers in the surgical field.
During the meeting, the launch of the Society\'s new online platform was announced. This platform aims to facilitate communication amongmembers, provide a visual library of surgical content, and publish news
and scientific articles on a regular basis.
The meeting concluded with the honoring of several distinguished members in recognition of their contributions to the advancement of the surgical field in the Kingdom.
